The Tritech Traiblazers, a team of Tritech employees, their family and friends, did the company proud last Sunday, participating in the 31st annual Vancouver Sun Run.
Tritech cares deeply about the health and happiness of its employees, and we encourage everyone in the Tritech family to participate in events like the Sun Run that promote physical activity and community involvement.
The Trailblazers joined 40,000 other runners and walkers for the 10 km event which is one of the largest organized road races in the world. We may not have won any medals (the fastest men’s and women’s times were under 35 minutes) but we did have some excellent times in our team and everyone had a lot of fun.
Tritech will also be participating in the Abbotsford Run for Water on May 31, this time raising money for water infrastructure improvements in the town of Yella in Ethiopia. Only 4% of villagers in Yella currently have access to clean water and they often have to walk 8 hours to get it.
