Specialty Services

As a specialist in water and wastewater infrastructure, Tritech is able to provide a range of services not typically offered by most general contractors. In addition to heavy civil construction capabilities, we understand that the heart of every water and wastewater treatment facility and pumping station is the process and control systems and we have developed our internal expertise to focus on these systems.

Tritech has over 25 years experience designing water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations. Our team of process, mechanical and electrical engineers and CAD technicians have completed the preliminary and detailed design of numerous facilities, including sub-components such as pump skids, clarifiers, DAFs, filters, screens, chemical systems, aeration systems, control systems, electrical distribution systems and standby power systems.

Tritech designs and manufactures its own custom mechanical and electrical equipment in house including but not limited to the following:

  • Electrical kiosks, starter panels and control panels
  • DAF, clarifier and filter packages
  • Steel, stainless steel and aluminum tanks
  • Pumping skids
  • Process piping (steel and stainless steel)
  • Aluminium and galvanized steel platforms, stairs and handrails
  • Miscellaneous metal components

Tritech provides a full range of mechanical services including design, equipment procurement, manufacturing and installation. Key services offered include:

Tritech has completed over 60 water and wastewater treatment plant and pumping station upgrade projects in the last 10 years alone. Using this experience and our water and wastewater process expertise, we can provide innovative and cost effective approaches to plant retrofit and upgrades projects. Whether the project involves replacing aging pumps and piping or includes the addition of an entirely new process train, Tritech will work with plant operations to make sure the upgrade occurs without disrupting operations or affecting plant capacity.

Commissioning is often the most critical phase of any water or wastewater infrastructure project. The transition from a plant under construction to an operating plant requires detailed planning and extensive testing combined with a knowledgeable commissioning team. Tritech has successfully commissioned numerous water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations and can provide the following services during the commissioning period:

  • Testing and commissioning plan
  • Loop checks
  • Process and mechanical equipment testing
  • Start-up and commissioning
  • Initial training
  • Operational support
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance
