We are pleased to announce the following Projects have been awarded to Tritech Group Ltd.!
Kennedy Newton Main Phase 3A
Metro Vancouver is constructing the Kennedy Newton Water Transmission Main in Surrey and Delta to address the growing demand for drinking water. This new water main spans over eight kilometres with a diameter of 1.8 metres. The project has been phased into five sections, with the North Section being the last segment and of which Matcon Civil Constructors has subcontracted Tritech for the Cast-in Chamber works, including a Crossover Chamber, Water Meter Chamber, and Connection Chamber at Kennedy Park. The North Section, approximately one kilometre long, runs from Kennedy Park at 90 Avenue, along Holt Road, to 88 Avenue in Surrey. Construction of this section started in summer of 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2026.
South Surrey Interceptor – Delta Section AMF
The South Surrey Interceptor, a network of sanitary sewers, transports sewage from Delta, Surrey, and Langley to the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (AIWWTP). Wastewater flows north to the River Road Grit Chamber, located just south of River Road under the Highway 91 approach ramp to the Alex Fraser Bridge. To mitigate ambient odors and infrastructure corrosion, a vapor-phase Air Management Facility (AMF) will be constructed at the River Road Grit Chamber in Delta.
Metro Vancouver is procuring the AMF equipment for the project and has awarded Tritech the contract to install the pre-purchased AMF equipment and connect the facility to the South Surrey Interceptor. The project is expected to be completed by September 2025.
